ITFC signs $100 million financing agreement with Turkish Development and Investment Bank

The International Islamic Trade Finance Corporation (ITFC), part of the Islamic Development Bank Group, signed a $100 million financing agreement with the Turkish Development and Investment Bank. The deal supports Türkiye’s agricultural industry, food sector, food security, renewable energy and infrastructure.

ITFC Chief Executive Hani Salem Sonbol stated that the collaboration aims to boost economic development and expand support to both the private and public sectors, address food security, and contribute to Türkiye’s growth.

The Turkish Development and Investment Bank noted that the funding is part of their ongoing efforts to tackle food security challenges and contribute to the country’s development.
