Abu Dhabi Islamic Bank (ADIB) plans to hire 400 UAE nationals in Al Ain by the end of 2026 as part of its contribution to the country’s National Skills Development Strategy and the Nafis programme. The announcement aligns with the UAE’s broader Emiratisation agenda, which aims to increase local workforce participation in key economic sectors.

The recruitment will span roles across Islamic retail banking, operations, compliance, and collections. The bank stated that the initiative is part of its efforts to expand its institutional footprint in Al Ain and strengthen the pipeline of Emirati talent in the financial services sector.

ADIB recently held a two-day open recruitment event in Al Ain in collaboration with Majalis Abu Dhabi. The event featured on-the-spot interviews for available positions and drew significant interest from local candidates.

The bank also plans to provide training programmes designed to equip Emirati staff with skills relevant to the evolving demands of the banking sector.
