AlUla Development Company (UDC), a PIF entity, initiated construction on NUMAJ, Autograph Collection, boasting a significant milestone for the development of AlUla, Saudi Arabia.

This marks the transition of UDC into the execution phase of its development plans, aimed at creating high-standard projects that contribute to AlUla’s transformation into a premier global destination.

The new hotel, featuring 250 keys and set to open in 2027, underscores UDC’s commitment to delivering investment-ready developments that enhance AlUla’s appeal.

NUMAJ, designed by GioForma and inspired by AlUla’s natural and cultural heritage, will be operated by Marriott International under the Autograph Collection Hotels brand.

The name “NUMAJ” references the star system Nu Ursae Majoris, historically significant to the region.

This development is part of UDC’s broader strategy to shape AlUla into a vibrant community and a sought-after destination, thereby supporting Saudi Arabia’s Vision 2030 goals of sustainable tourism and economic diversification.

The development comes as the PIF reset its official mandate with three defined verticals last week: Vision, Strategic, and Financial.
