UAE lender Mashreq has raised $500M through a five-year benchmark-sized bond, with the issuance drawing an order book in excess of $925M, including $50M of JLM interest.
The spread was tightened to 115 basis points over US Treasuries from initial price thoughts (IPTs) that were in the +145bp area.
The issuance carries a fixed-rate coupon of 5.625%, paid semi-annually. The yield was set at 5.736%, with a reoffer price of 99.523%.
The bond has a maturity date of 16 September 2031 and carries ratings of A from Fitch and A from S&P.
This aligns with the UAE lender’s own rating.
