Binance has named Stephanie Emile as general manager for Dubai, effective August 2024. Emile, previously head of operations in Dubai since 2022, will focus on advancing the company’s growth and regulatory compliance in the region.

With a background in digital trading systems and financial sector roles at BNP Paribas and Barclays Capital, Emile was key in securing Binance’s Virtual Asset Service Provider (VASP) licence from Dubai’s Virtual Assets Regulatory Authority. This licence allows Binance to expand its product offerings to include margin, futures, options trading, lending, and investment products.

Emile’s strategic priorities will focus on institutional adoption, enhancing regulatory compliance, and promoting educational initiatives such as Binance Academy. She aims to expand service accessibility while driving Binance’s innovation in the region.

“I am honored to step into this new role at such a pivotal time for Binance,” said Stephanie Emile, General Manager, Binance Dubai. “As we navigate the ever-evolving regulatory landscape, I look forward to leading our team of experts in driving innovation, exploring new growth opportunities, and expanding our offering in Dubai”.
