BNY appoints Madiha Sattar as MD and Growth Ventures Partner for the Middle East

Madiha Sattar will take on a strategic role in BNY’s global growth initiatives, strengthening ties in the Middle East.

BNY has announced the appointment of Madiha Sattar as Managing Director and Growth Ventures Partner in a new global role based in the UAE.

In her new position, Sattar will drive strategic efforts with regional clients to foster and invest in opportunities across financial markets data and analytics, wealth technology and alternative assets data and distribution.

Sattar has over 20 years of industry experience, having previously worked at Careem, JPMorgan Chase, and McKinsey & Company. She is also recognised as a Dubai Future Fellow, advising on sectors pivotal to Dubai’s future.

BNY’s Growth Ventures initiative follows the company’s investment in the Abu Dhabi-based fintech company Alpheya, which is developing a comprehensive wealth management platform for the Middle East.
