Dubai’s Department of Finance (DOF) and PwC Academy, the professional development arm of PwC Middle East, have entered into a strategic partnership to introduce a new tax professional certification program for employees working in Dubai government entities.
Certification details
The Tax Professional Certificate program offers in-depth training on the UAE’s value-added tax (VAT) and corporate tax systems. The certification includes diplomas from the UK’s Association of Tax Technicians (ATT-UK), covering UAE VAT and UAE Corporate Tax (CT). PwC Academy will deliver the program in both Arabic and English over 18 training days, amounting to 108 training hours.
Participants must pass a comprehensive final exam conducted by PwC Academy to obtain the certification. This initiative aims to enhance tax knowledge, improve efficiency, and align with the advanced tax framework established in the UAE.
