Asyad Group has signed eight agreements valued at over OMR 5 million with small and medium enterprises (SMEs) to implement national logistics projects aimed at expanding the businesses of these enterprises and contributing to a diversified and sustainable economy.
Sameh Hassan Batook, Vice President of Contracts and Tenders at Asyad Group, stated that the partnerships will enhance innovation, improve operational efficiency, and diversify supply chains, ensuring the sustainability of the group’s operations and projects.
“These agreements aim to provide more job opportunities for Omani youth, enhance their role in the Sultanate of Oman’s economic growth, and support business expansion into regional and global markets,” Batook said.
The programme focuses on strengthening partnerships between sectors, boosting the logistics sector’s role in comprehensive development, and reinforcing Oman’s position as a global logistics hub.
