Airbus plans to manufacture components for its A400M military transport aircraft in the United Arab Emirates (UAE) and establish maintenance, repair, and overhaul (MRO) facilities and a training centre. This initiative aims to integrate UAE-based entities, including EPI and Strata, into Airbus’s global aerospace supply chain.
This move aligns with Airbus’s strategy to expand its footprint in the Middle East, building on previous collaborations such as the agreement with Abu Dhabi’s Sanad for engine MRO services.
