Tourmaline Partners has opened a new office in Dubai International Financial Centre (DIFC), expanding its global footprint and targeting increased demand for outsourced trading services in the Middle East.
The new branch will be led by Kish Desai, who has relocated from London to take on the role of Senior Executive Officer. Desai brings more than 20 years of experience in global trading and client relationship management.
The DIFC office will serve as a regional hub, providing institutional clients with trading solutions adapted to local market conditions.
“Opening a Dubai office is a natural next step as we continue to meet growing demand for our services across the globe,” said Aaron Hantman, CEO of Tourmaline Partners.
Tourmaline’s move follows increased interest from global asset managers in the UAE, with the DIFC launching new initiatives, such as the Hedge Fund Centre, to attract institutional capital and trading infrastructure to the region.
The firm said the expansion is part of its broader strategy to support buy-side institutions through independent, conflict-free, outsourced trading across key financial centres.
