Jean Abou Assi, Financial Services Consulting Leader at PwC Middle East, has been revealed as a member of the illustrious jury panel of the Finance Middle East Awards 2025.
Abou Assi leads PwC’s Financial Services Consulting practice in the Middle East and brings extensive experience advising regional financial institutions on large-scale digital transformation. He has worked closely with senior executives, business owners, product teams, and technology leaders to design and deliver customer-centric digital programmes across the financial sector.
Abou Assi’s focus areas include defining digital strategies for leading banks and NBFIs, implementing new digital operating models, and setting up digital factories and experience centres for Islamic banks in the GCC. He has played a central role in launching customer analytics platforms and modernising core banking and insurance applications.
He has also advised on the development of digital challenger propositions, covering value creation, enterprise architecture, and operating models tailored to SME and retail banking. Abou Assi’s experience spans end-to-end digitisation, from strategy through to execution, with deep expertise in cloud-native services, agile methodologies, and hyper-personalised digital journeys.
Finance Middle East Awards
The Finance Middle East Awards returns in 2025 for its second edition, celebrating the companies and individuals driving meaningful impact across the region’s financial industry. The inaugural event in 2024 honoured firms such as AstraTech, First Abu Dhabi Bank, and DIFC for their contributions to the financial sector.
The winners will be announced on Wednesday, September 24 2025, in Dubai.
