RAKBANK has appointed Vasudha Khandeparkar as Vice President – Value Based Management, marking a senior hire to support its digital and data-driven transformation strategy, she announced on LinkedIn.

Khandeparkar joins from Grant Thornton UAE, where she led the firm’s AI, data and analytics practice. Over nearly two years, she was responsible for building out capabilities and tools to help businesses across the region leverage data for growth and customer engagement.
Her move follows a 15-year career in data, AI and analytics roles across the UK and the Middle East. At Barclays in London, she headed channel and location analytics and previously led a strategic team that reshaped the bank’s customer contact strategy. Earlier in her career at RedEye, she launched AI tools for marketing automation and scaled the company’s insights function. She has also advised startups and health-tech firms, including DIY.Health, on data strategy.
In her new role at RAKBANK, Khandeparkar will focus on embedding value-based management at the intersection of AI, strategy and innovation. The position comes as RAKBANK pushes ahead with plans to reimagine itself as a technology-driven bank while retaining a strong human touch.
Khandeparkar said she was looking forward to contributing to the bank’s transformation and to unlocking value for customers, colleagues and the wider ecosystem.
Alongside her corporate career, she has been active in mental health advocacy, holding qualifications as a mental health first aider, and supports new organisations in building data foundations. Academically, she has studied at Georgia Tech, the University of Oxford and London Business School.
