The United Arab Emirates has launched Unified UAE Numbers, an AI-powered data platform. This new national initiative aims to transform data collection from traditional methods to a system designed for intelligent statistics and policymaking.
The platform was introduced in November 2025 during the UAE Government Annual Meetings 2025, developed by the Federal Competitiveness and Statistics Centre (FCSC) in collaboration with the Ministry of Foreign Trade, and is part of the UAE’s move towards smart governance.
The platform emerges from discussions at the Economic Data Retreat, where leaders addressed advancing the nation’s statistics ecosystem. It is managed on the UAE Government Federal Network (FedNet).
Dr Thani bin Ahmed Al Zeyoudi, UAE’s Minister of Foreign Trade, voiced optimism about the platform’s potential. “This day marks our transition from a phase of compiling data to one of managing knowledge. From traditional statistics to smart statistics. This strategic transformation is embodied by the Unified UAE Numbers platform, which opens new horizons for decision makers to harness the power of data to drive development, national economy’s competitiveness and the UAE’s global status.”
He noted it would inform development strategies, enhance the national economy’s competitiveness and fortify the UAE’s international standing. The transformation promises to convert data into actionable insights, facilitating improved governance and strategic planning.

Maryam bint Ahmed Al Hammadi, Minister of State and General Supervisor of the FCSC, underscored the initiative as a reflection of the leadership’s vision. By integrating AI into governance, the platform is expected to empower decisions with accurate, real-time data, bringing a new level of precision and reliability to public policy.
The platform’s initial phase has involved the participation of 28 national bodies and established 380 economic indicators, providing a unified analytical framework for GDP, balance of payments and investments. Al Hammadi highlighted the role of data in establishing national priorities and assessing progress, which aligns with the UAE’s readiness for AI integration and fostering a culture of innovation.
The Unified UAE Numbers platform is set to be a fundamental component of the UAE’s digital governance initiatives. By providing real-time data and facilitating informed decisions, it aims to enhance transparency, economic responsiveness and the ability to adapt to societal shifts.
