Bain & Company has announced the appointment of Eric Beranger-Fenouillet as the managing partner for its Middle East business.

Based in the UAE, Beranger-Fenouillet will lead the firm amid rapid development in the region, focusing on assisting clients with complex transformation agendas, fostering long-term partnerships, and investing in local teams and culture.

Beranger-Fenouillet succeeds Tom De Waele, who led the Middle East business through a period of significant growth over six years.

With over 16 years at Bain, Beranger-Fenouillet previously headed the firm’s Energy & Natural Resources practice in the Middle East. His experience includes advising client leadership teams on strategy and transformation across the Middle East and Europe, with particular expertise in growth strategies, mergers and acquisitions, and performance improvement programs.

Tom De Waele, EMEA regional managing partner, highlighted Beranger-Fenouillet’s strong track record, deep regional experience, and robust client relationships, expressing confidence in his ability to build on Bain’s momentum in the Middle East.

Beranger-Fenouillet emphasised his commitment to investing in local talent and leveraging the firm’s global network to support clients in achieving business results and socio-economic impact.
