Taimur Ali Mir joins the Finance Middle East Awards 2024 jury panel

An independent panel of expert judges will decide on the winners in each of the 15 categories.

Taimur Ali Mir, PwC Partner and PwC’s Academy ME Professional Qualifications Head, was revealed as a member of the illustrious jury panel judging the inaugural edition of the Finance Middle East Awards set to take place on May 15.

About Mir

Mir is a partner at PwC and heads the PwC’s Academy professional qualifications and certifications stream. He oversees a team of trainers, consultants and operations who deliver a wide range of internationally reputed qualifications for a variety of public and private sector clients. These certifications vary in terms of scope and cover finance, tax, HR, leadership, marketing and project management.

Mir has designed and delivered training programmes for leading institutions in the GCC, catering to both the public and private sectors. He has also led training projects to build skills and competencies through smart assessments, coaching and mentoring for individuals and teams.

He is a specialist in professional qualifications and corporate training. During his career, he has trained over 4,000 delegates and has consistently surpassed global pass rates.

Mir’s professional experience includes working as a Fund Manager, Investment Analyst and Advisor for pension and government endowment funds. His accomplishments include increasing the growth of assets under management by over 13 times in less than three years and securing top-performing fund accolades for two consecutive years for funds under his management. He has incorporated new learning techniques in his courses and uses pedagogy that caters to learners with varying styles of learning.

Finance Middle East Awards

The inaugural Finance Middle East Awards will debut on May 15. It will gather over 200 leading banking and finance executives to celebrate outstanding achievements within the DIFC (Dubai International Financial Centre) and the wider GCC (Gulf Cooperation Council) region.

An independent panel of expert judges will decide on the winners in each of the 15 categories. The winning nominees will be announced during a gala dinner celebration at a luxurious venue in May.

Submitting nominations is free; executives have until March 29 to enter the awards. Shortlisted nominees will be announced in April, and the winners will be crowned on May 15.
