Qatar Central Bank (QCB) has issued treasury bills and Islamic sukuk for one week, one month, three months, six months, and nine months maturities.
The issuance amounted to a total of QR 2 billion ($549 million).
The issuances of treasury bills distributed amounted to QR 200 million for a one-week maturity at an interest rate of 5.76%, QR 500 million for a one-month maturity at an interest rate of 5.80%, QR 500 million for three months at an interest rate of 5.82%.
In addition, the bank also issued treasury bills at QR 500 million for the six-month maturity at an interest rate of 5.78% and QR 300 million for the nine-month maturity at an interest rate of 5.70%.
According to the bank, the total private bids in treasury bills and Islamic sukuks amounted to QR 5.4 billion.
