The Dubai Corporation for Consumer Protection and Fair Trade (DCCPFT) has signed a strategic collaboration agreement with AutoPro, part of the Emirates National Oil Company (ENOC) Group, to enhance vehicle maintenance standards in Dubai.
The partnership aims to introduce structured technical oversight that will strengthen service quality in the city’s automotive aftersales sector.
AutoPro will serve as a technical and operational partner, facilitating the implementation of quality standards across Dubai’s vehicle maintenance services. The collaboration will include conducting structured assessments, establishing best practice frameworks, and launching consumer awareness initiatives.
This initiative aligns with the Dubai Economic Agenda, D33: doubling the emirate’s economy by 2033 whilst reinforcing Dubai’s status as a global business hub. The collaboration is expected to enhance market discipline and mitigate disputes between consumers and service providers.
AutoPro operates across 42 locations in the UAE, serving approximately 2M customers annually. This collaboration underscores DCCPFT’s commitment to fostering fair trade practices, enhancing competitiveness, whilst safeguarding consumer rights across the automotive sector.
