Mohammed bin Ahmed Al Yamahi, President of the Arab Parliament, emphasised the need to localise artificial intelligence technology in Arab countries. He called for developing plans and allocating financial and human resources to compete globally, ensuring the technology aligns with the ethical and cultural systems of Arab societies. Al Yamahi stated that building an Arab AI system requires partnerships among governments, academic institutions, and the private sector, supported by a legal framework balancing technological innovation and ethical responsibility.
