Saudi Venture Capital (SVC) announced a $15 million investment in Saqr Fund II, a venture capital fund managed by Vision Ventures. The fund, targeting $90 million, will focus on early-stage startups from pre-seed to pre-series B across various sectors in Saudi Arabia and the broader MENA region.

Dr Nabeel Koshak, CEO of SVC, said, “This investment aligns with SVC’s strategy to stimulate venture capital activity and reduce fundraising barriers for fund managers supporting high-growth Saudi startups.”

Vision Ventures’ Founding Partner and CEO, Kais Al-Essa, expressed gratitude for SVC’s continued support. He highlighted Vision Ventures’ successful track record in delivering strong performance and returns for investors and emphasised the firm’s entrepreneurial approach to identifying and nurturing promising startup teams.
