The General Authority for Statistics (GASTAT) has introduced a Micro Data Center to provide accurate statistical data for decision-makers, policymakers, academics, and researchers across public and private sectors. The initiative aims to support data-driven analysis, identify opportunities, and address economic and social challenges, aligning with sustainable development goals.
The Micro Data Center offers structured, semi-structured, and unstructured data across various fields, enabling both descriptive and predictive analysis. The centre aims to meet the growing demand for high-quality data and strengthen GASTAT’s role as the primary provider of official statistics. It also supports formulating strategies, performance programs, and key indicators in collaboration with government entities, contributing to the objectives of Saudi Vision 2030.
GASTAT stressed that all data shared with public and private institutions, individuals, and international organisations will remain confidential and be used solely for statistical purposes.
