Nakheel, part of Dubai Holding Real Estate, has awarded three infrastructure contracts worth over Dh750 million to DBB Contracting LLC for works on Palm Jebel Ali, with completion scheduled for the fourth quarter of 2026.

The contracts cover the development of key infrastructure across Fronds A to G and the Spine District. The scope includes road and pavement construction, excavation and backfilling, and the installation of utility connections for 11kV power distribution and telecommunications. DBB Contracting will also execute utility mains and roadwork for the Spine District and prepare grading for the DEWA power transmission line serving the project.

Palm Jebel Ali spans 13.4 kilometres and includes 16 fronds and over 90 kilometres of planned beachfront. The project aligns with the Dubai 2040 Urban Master Plan and supports the Dubai Economic Agenda D33 by expanding residential, commercial and public space in the Jebel Ali growth corridor.

DBB Contracting has previously worked on Palm Jebel Ali infrastructure, including access roads and public areas. The latest contracts mark a continuation of that partnership as Nakheel moves forward with major construction activity on the island.

Palm Jebel Ali is a key component of Dubai’s broader real estate and tourism expansion. The island will feature multiple mixed-use neighbourhoods with residential, commercial, and recreational facilities, supported by sustainable infrastructure and mobility networks.
