Saudi Arabia’s Industrial Production Index increased 7.9% in June 2025 compared with the same month a year earlier, according to data from the General Authority for Statistics (GASTAT). The index reached 111.92 points, up from 103.69 in June 2024.

Manufacturing activity climbed 11.1%, while mining and quarrying rose 6%. Supply of electricity, gas, steam and air-conditioning increased 5.6%, and water, sewerage, waste management and remediation rose by 6.9%.

Industrial output from oil-related activities grew by 7.7% and non‑oil output by 8.6%.

Under Vision 2030, Saudi Arabia aims to diversify away from oil, with industrial expansion in manufacturing viewed as central to that strategy. June’s data highlights progress in non-oil sectors while showing robust performance in energy-related production. Additional context on related industrial trends is available from sources such as port activity and GDP growth.
