Abu Dhabi Chamber appoints Ali Mohammad Al Marzooqi to lead private‑sector roadmap

The Abu Dhabi Chamber of Commerce and Industry’s Board of Directors has appointed Ali Mohammad Al Marzooqi as Director‑General, tasking him with delivering the Chamber’s Roadmap 2025‑2028, which is shaped by private‑sector priorities.

Abu Dhabi Chamber Chairman, HE Ahmed Jasim Al Zaabi, said the roadmap is structured to “enable the private sector to grow, thrive, and expand globally by building bridges between business, government, and global markets.” He added that Al Marzooqi’s mandate includes expanding market access, representing private‑sector interests, and enhancing the ease of doing business in line with Abu Dhabi’s evolving “Falcon Economy.”

The Chamber connects more than 158,000 member companies with resources, partners, and international opportunities. It supports businesses through advocacy, investment attraction, trade promotion and collaboration, aimed at bolstering a knowledge‑based economy.

Al Marzooqi brings leadership experience from government, industry, finance and education, including roles in organisational transformation, business process outsourcing and performance improvement.

HE Shamis Al Dhaheri, Second Vice-Chairman and Managing Director of the Chamber, said Al Marzooqi’s appointment strengthens efforts to build platforms that translate private‑sector ambitions into tangible growth. It will enhance stakeholder cooperation, enabling firms of all sizes to move more quickly and add value.

The Chamber’s Roadmap aims to foster a business ecosystem that is diversified, flexible and innovative. It focuses on strengthening advocacy, global connections, and entrepreneurship support, positioning Abu Dhabi for long‑term economic performance.
