Sharjah announced a financial package, Entrepreneurs Resilience Fund, totalling $1.36M over the weekend to support local SMEs in the UAE.

The $1.36M fund (Dh 5M) is backed by Beeah Group, National Paints and RAK Bank.

The Entrepreneurs Resilience Fund offers non-repayable grants free from equity requirements, facilitating a fast-tracked evaluation process to ensure swift access to much-needed support.

H.H. Sheikha Bodour bint Sultan Al Qasimi leads the Sharjah Entrepreneurship Centre (Sheraa). The fund is designed to assist businesses in navigating current market challenges, particularly within sectors crucial for economic stability such as manufacturing, food security, and healthcare.

Applications are now open: the fund is structured to provide comprehensive assistance, including tailored programming and market visibility opportunities for successful candidates.
