Saudi Arabia has announced the discovery of seven oil and gas deposits in the Kingdom’s Eastern Province and Empty Quarter, the official Saudi news agency SPA reported.
“Saudi Aramco has discovered two unconventional oil fields, one Arabian light oil reservoir, two natural gas fields and two natural gas reservoirs in the Eastern Province and the Empty Quarter,” said the country’s Energy Minister Prince Abdulaziz bin Salman.
The Kingdom’s Aramco uncovered two unconventional oil fields (Al-Ladam and Al-Farouq) and one reservoir (Unayza B/C) in the country’s Eastern province.
Meanwhile, while two natural gas fields and two reservoirs in the Kingdom’s Empty Quarter. These include the Al-Jahaq and Al-Katuf fields and the Hanifa reservoir.
