The Central Bank of the UAE (CBUAE) has cancelled Cogent Insurance Broker’s license and removed it from the Register under Article 22 (2) of Resolution No.15 of 2013 on Insurance Brokerage Regulations.

The action follows a CBUAE examination revealing Cogent’s inadequate compliance framework and failure to meet regulatory obligations.

CBUAE, in line with its oversight role, ensures adherence to UAE laws, regulations, and standards by insurance entities and professionals. This aims to preserve transparency and integrity within the insurance industry and the UAE’s financial system.
