Abu Dhabi’s Technology Innovation Institute (TII) and AI company AI71 have partnered with Amazon Web Services (AWS) to make UAE-developed artificial intelligence models and products available globally.
Under the agreement, TII’s Falcon large language models (LLMs) will be offered through Amazon SageMaker and Amazon Bedrock. These models, which have ranked among top global performers, will be accessible via pay-as-you-go APIs, enabling wider adoption without the need for large-scale computing infrastructure.
AI71’s agentic enterprise tools are already listed on the AWS Marketplace. The company will work with AWS to accelerate product development, focusing on AI applications for enterprise and government use.
The partnership includes joint work in four areas:
- Cryptographic research in privacy-preserving machine learning uses homomorphic encryption and multi-party computation techniques.
- Global rollout of TII’s PetalGuard privacy solution via AWS Marketplace.
- Development of new AI solutions through rapid prototyping.
- AI talent training programmes with AWS-backed certifications.
The initiative aligns with the UAE’s AI 2031 vision and digital economy strategy. Further technical details and partnership expansions will be announced in the coming weeks.
