Abu Dhabi tech giant AIQ has partnered with Amazon Web Services (AWS) to offer AIQ’s WellInsight software on the AWS Marketplace.

This collaboration marks AIQ as the first local Software as a Service (SaaS) provider in the Energy sector within the GCC to present its offerings through AWS Marketplace. This milestone underscores AIQ’s innovative approach and dominant position within the regional energy tech landscape.

AIQ has not only achieved the AWS Foundational Technical Review (FTR) but has also attained recognition as an AWS Certified Partner. This certification solidifies the company’s dedication to providing top-notch AI solutions, ensuring seamless integration with AWS services, and enhancing user experience for its global clientele.

AIQ has joined forces with Amazon Web Services to introduce its WellInsight solution through the AWS Marketplace as part of its expansion strategy. This partnership aims to broaden the accessibility of AIQ’s energy solutions to AWS’s extensive global customer base.

AI-BHI

WellInsight, AIQ’s flagship automated tool for petrogeologists and engineers, facilitates comprehensive insight and improved reservoir characterisation. Comprising four modules – AI-BHI, Geostress, 1D MEM, and Payzone –the solution automates and enhances borehole data analysis and modelling using computer vision and other technologies. This aids geologists and engineers in planning drilling activities effectively.

AI-BHI automates borehole image interpretation, Geostress offers precise AI-assisted stress analysis, 1D MEM facilitates AI-supported geomechanical model creation, and Payzone combines outputs from the three solutions to establish an automated, data-driven workflow for identifying optimal perforation zones. WellInsight accelerates data processing, enabling borehole data analysis within minutes instead of weeks, amalgamating AI analysis with human expertise for accuracy.

The refined analysis has the potential to enhance production efficiency and contribute to sustainability efforts by indirectly reducing the carbon footprint through a better understanding of good operations.

By offering WellInsight via the AWS Marketplace, a reputable channel for enterprise software, AIQ aims to provide the energy industry with access to its solutions through a secure and simplified procurement process for testing and deployment.

“AIQ develops AI solutions that focus on unlocking value at scale for industries, and WellInsight gives the global energy sector a platform to automate and improve borehole analysis,” said Dr Chris Cooper, CEO of AIQ. “By making WellInsight available through AWS Marketplace, we can take ourmade-in-the-UAEE solutions to a global customer base.”
