The Electric Vehicle Infrastructure Company (EVIQ), a joint venture between the Public Investment Fund (PIF) and the Saudi Electricity Company (SEC), unveiled a research and development (R&D) centre in Riyadh.
The primary objective of this facility is to conduct comprehensive testing of a diverse range of chargers and associated software. This rigorous testing aims to ensure the deployment of top-tier equipment and software by EVIQ, emphasising their dedication to quality and efficiency in advancing the EV sector across Saudi Arabia. By guaranteeing adherence to the highest safety and quality standards for operations within the country, the facility aims to instil confidence in EV drivers regarding the reliability of EVIQ chargers.
