Burjeel Holdings appoints Reuben George Joseph as CFO from October 2026, bringing over 20 years of finance and transformation experience.

Burjeel Holdings has appointed Reuben George Joseph as Chief Financial Officer, a move aimed at ensuring continuity in financial leadership as the company prepares for its next growth phase.

The Board of Directors approved this appointment, which takes effect from 1 October 2026. Currently serving as General Manager – Transformation at Burjeel, Joseph has been instrumental in strategic finance, capital allocation, corporate development, and the company’s transformation initiatives.

With over 20 years of experience, Joseph is a Chartered Accountant who has expertise in areas such as financial reporting, governance, treasury, mergers and acquisitions, and finance transformation. Prior to his tenure at Burjeel Holdings, he held the position of Chief Financial Officer at VPS Health and has occupied various board and advisory roles.

The founder, Chairman and CEO of Burjeel Holdings highlighted Joseph’s familiarity with the company’s operations and strategic objectives as a critical asset for the group’s future.

His appointment is expected to enhance financial stewardship and strategic execution as Burjeel enters a new phase of growth. Meanwhile, Muhammed Shihabuddin will remain in his role as Chief Financial Officer until 30 September 2026 to ensure a smooth transition.
