Edmond de Rothschild Appoints Hamza as Head of Investment Advisory in Dubai

Hamza joins the Rothschild and will lead the development of the investment advisory business in the MENA from Dubai.

Edmond de Rothschild has appointed Hamza Hamza as Head of Investment Advisory in Dubai, effective 5 January, strengthening its advisory leadership in the Middle East.

Based in Dubai, Hamza joins the firm’s Exclusive Advisory team and will lead the development of the investment advisory business in the region. He reports to Xavier Rives, Head of Advisory Switzerland at Edmond de Rothschild.

Hamza brings more than 19 years of international experience across capital markets, investments and private banking, advising NRI, Gulf and expatriate HNW and UHNW clients. He joins from Nomura International Wealth Management, where he served as Executive Director and Investment Advisor.

His previous roles include senior positions at Deutsche Bank Wealth Management, Standard Chartered Private Bank and Coutts in Dubai and London.

Commenting on the appointment, Jonathan Atlani, CEO of Edmond de Rothschild Middle East, said Hamza’s expertise in portfolio construction, structured solutions and client development will support the firm’s continued growth and delivery of cross-asset advice in the region.
