Abu Dhabi sovereign investor ADQ has completed a $5B five-year syndicated term financing in the Greater China region, marking its debut term loan transaction in the market. 

ADQ said the facility broadens its funding sources, strengthens its liquidity position and provides greater flexibility to pursue commercially attractive investments. 

The financing was arranged by Bank of China (Dubai Branch), DBS Bank, HSBC, ICBC (Dubai Branch), Standard Chartered (Hong Kong) and JPMorgan Securities, with participation from more than 30 financial institutions across Mainland China, Hong Kong, Macau and Taiwan.
