The Abu Dhabi Real Estate Centre (ADREC) has announced the upcoming launch of ‘Madhmoun,’ the Gulf region’s first Multiple Listing Service (MLS) platform. The platform aims to enhance transparency and efficiency in the emirate’s real estate market by providing verified property listings and real-time updates for brokers, developers, and buyers.
Madhmoun, meaning ‘verified’ in Arabic, will serve as a centralised hub for property transactions, ensuring that all listings are accurate and reliable. The platform is designed to reduce misleading advertisements and improve trust in the market.
Rashed Al Omaira, Acting Director General of ADREC, stated that Madhmoun is expected to transform real estate transactions in Abu Dhabi by promoting innovation and transparency. He emphasised that the platform is not an advertising agent but an internationally recognised system aimed at elevating market standards and enabling authentic advertising.
The introduction of Madhmoun is part of Abu Dhabi’s broader efforts to position itself as a resilient and globally competitive real estate investment hub. The platform seeks to enhance global visibility and unlock new opportunities by connecting the local market with international investors.
Madhmoun is anticipated to increase property visibility by an average of 70%, enhance broker productivity by 35%, and reduce transaction times by 40%, thereby improving customer experience and attracting international investment.
The launch date for Madhmoun has not been specified. ADREC encourages real estate professionals and stakeholders to prepare for its implementation, which is expected to set a new standard for regional property transactions.
