ADIPEC 2025 Secures $46 Billion in Energy Deals, Breaks Records

The latest edition had record attendance, highlighting its major influence on global energy discourse.

The Abu Dhabi International Petroleum Exhibition & Conference (ADIPEC) 2025 has concluded, leaving behind notable impacts on the global energy landscape.

The event, known for its significant influence, saw business deals valued at $46 billion and a record attendance of 239,709 people, indicating a 17% increase from 2024.

Hosted by the Abu Dhabi National Oil Company (ADNOC) under the theme “Energy. Intelligence. Impact.”, ADIPEC has reinforced its position as a cornerstone of energy discourse and innovation.

Throughout the four-day event, stakeholders from energy sectors worldwide convened to engage in discussions aimed at steering the industry towards a more sustainable future. The gathering facilitated approximately 35,000 cross-sector agreements and contributed an estimated $400 million to Abu Dhabi’s economy, predominantly through hospitality, tourism and transportation sectors.

Central to the discussions at ADIPEC was the address by HE Dr Sultan Ahmed Al Jaber, Minister of Industry and Advanced Technology and ADNOC’s Managing Director. Dr Al Jaber emphasised the necessity of a robust $4 trillion investment across diverse energy sources. He said this is necessary for fostering economic growth and establishing competitive, forward-looking policies.

Abdul Munim Al Kindy, Chairman of ADIPEC 2025, highlighted the event’s role as a global platform that encourages practical solutions and collaboration throughout the energy ecosystem. He pointed to the growing participation as evidence of ADIPEC’s pivotal role in shaping a secure and diversified energy future.

Prominent companies such as ADNOC, Aramco, ExxonMobil and Shell were among the participants, displaying innovative strategies and technologies aimed at meeting the rising energy demands of an increasingly AI-driven global economy.

Various AI and tech leaders such as IBM, Cisco, and Microsoft showcased their contributions to intelligent systems that aid in decarbonisation.

The presence of 172 national delegations helped position the UAE as a vital global hub for energy innovation and partnerships. Discussions revolved around energy security, market stability and the creation of future-ready infrastructure through inclusive financing.

Overall, ADIPEC 2025 not only reinforced Abu Dhabi as a centre for governmental and industrial dialogue but also cemented its reputation as an impactful commercial energy event.

ADIPEC 2026 is set to return to Abu Dhabi, reinforcing its commitment to unite the global energy sector towards a sustainable, inclusive future.
