ADNOC has announced significant contract awards to 11 companies to bolster local manufacturing, aligning with its strategic initiatives.

ADNOC’s partners also inaugurated eight new UAE manufacturing facilities at ADIPEC, bringing the total to 16 this year, and 33 since the MIITE initiative began. The forum encouraged private sector participation to boost manufacturing capacity in the UAE.

The event also marked the launch of ADNOC’s “Responsible Sourcing Programme,” aimed at enhancing transparency and sustainable procurement practices.

Yaser Saeed Almazrouei, ADNOC Executive Director, emphasised the company’s role in driving sustainable value for the UAE and creating opportunities for local businesses through the ICV program. He invited companies to partner with ADNOC to explore long-term manufacturing prospects.

The Business Partnership Forum gathered suppliers, UAE-based companies, and government stakeholders to foster private-public partnerships that enhance the UAE’s industrial ecosystem.

Since 2018, ADNOC’s ICV programme has reinjected Dh187 billion ($51 billion) into the UAE economy and aims to contribute an additional Dh178 billion by 2028. It has also generated 14,000 jobs for Emiratis through NAFIS, with a target of 13,500 more by 2028.
