Dubai’s Parkin Company PJSC will implement a Variable Parking Tariff Policy across its public and developer parking portfolio from April 4, 2025. The policy, introduced by the Roads and Transport Authority (RTA), will apply different tariffs based on peak and off-peak hours, and will be implemented across 100% of public parking and around 35% of developer spaces.

Peak hours will be defined as 8:00–10:00 AM and 4:00–8:00 PM daily, excluding Sundays and public holidays. Pricing during off-peak hours—10:00 AM–4:00 PM and 8:00–10:00 PM—will remain unchanged.

The distribution of public parking spaces between Premium Parking and Standard Parking is as follows:

Approximately 40% of Parkin’s public parking portfolio will be designated as Premium Parking, up from an earlier estimate of 35%. Premium areas include zones with high footfall and proximity to public transport infrastructure. These will have updated rates based on the time of day and location. The remaining public parking spaces are classified as Standard Parking.

For multi-storey car parks, the fee remains Dh5 per hour, charged 24/7. However, a cap of Dh40 will apply for users parking longer than eight hours within 24 hours.

In the developer portfolio—covering around 19,200 parking spaces—approximately 35% of spaces will now be subject to variable tariffs, marking a shift from the previously stated 0%. These tariffs mirror the public parking rate structure.

During major events at the Dubai World Trade Centre, Parkin will implement a fixed Dh25-per-hour rate from 8:00 AM to 10:00 PM in surrounding areas. This applies to roughly 200 parking spaces. Confirmed events in 2025 include GITEX, Beautyworld Middle East, Gulfood Manufacturing, The Big 5, and Automechanika Dubai.

Parkin manages over 206,000 parking spaces across Dubai and holds a 49-year concession agreement with the RTA. The new policy aims to improve parking space turnover and reduce congestion in high-demand areas. More information is available via the Parkin website, app, and social channels.
