Anaconda, a US-based open-source AI software provider, has raised $150 million in a Series C funding round led by Insight Partners. Mubadala Capital, the asset management subsidiary of Abu Dhabi’s Mubadala Investment Company, also participated in the round.
The company said the new capital will be used to develop AI capabilities, pursue acquisitions, and support market expansion. Founded in 2012, Anaconda reported more than $150 million in annual recurring revenue as of July 2025.
The investment aligns with Mubadala’s broader AI portfolio, which includes stakes in UAE-based G42 and Space42, an ADX-listed satellite firm using AI-driven systems for space and communications technology.
Anaconda is known for its Python-based open-source tools widely used in data science and machine learning workflows. The company’s platforms are used by academic institutions, enterprises, and governments globally.
Mubadala Capital has increased exposure to AI and data infrastructure in recent years. Its investment in Anaconda adds to a series of US and regional tech deals aimed at strengthening the UAE’s position in emerging technologies.
