Enjinstarter’s Dubai-based entity, Web 3 Innovations FZE, operating as AYA, has obtained a Virtual Asset Service Provider (VASP) license from Dubai’s Virtual Assets Regulatory Authority (VARA).
The license, pending completion of pre-operational requirements, enables AYA to offer Virtual Asset Management and Investment Services. However, the license remains non-operational until all specified conditions and localisation prerequisites are met. AYA will initiate its operations upon meeting these criteria and obtaining regulatory approval.
AYA, Enjinstarter’s climate-focused launchpad, is set to facilitate sustainability innovation by linking retail investors, high-net-worth individuals, and institutional investors with startups dedicated to initiatives like reforestation, nature credits, mangrove conservation, and sustainable agriculture.
AYA aims to provide these startups with technological resources and incubation services. Notably, AYA’s current projects include the UCO Network, a platform geared towards optimising the utilisation and trade of used cooking oil while rewarding environmentally responsible actions.
Additionally, it supports other nature-based projects aiming to utilise blockchain and Web3 technology for climate action.
