Fuel prices in the UAE have edged lower since the start of the year, offering some relief to motorists after a spike during the first quarter.
As of June 2025, Super 98 petrol is priced at Dh2.58 per litre, unchanged from May and just one fils higher than in April. The cost peaked at Dh2.74 in February before declining steadily through March and April.

Special 95, the most commonly used petrol grade, followed a similar path. Prices dropped from Dh2.63 in February to Dh2.47 in June—a total decline of 16 fils, or around 6.1%.
EPlus 91, the least expensive fuel option, saw a comparable slide. From Dh2.55 per litre in February, prices fell to Dh2.39 in June.
Diesel, however, posted the sharpest drop across all fuel categories. After peaking at Dh2.82 in February, it declined by 37 fils to Dh2.45 in June—a 13% drop over four months.

Fuel prices in the UAE are revised monthly based on global oil benchmarks, refining costs, and distribution margins. Despite global volatility, domestic prices have remained relatively stable since April, supported by moderating crude oil markets.
Motorists can expect the next fuel price adjustment at the end of June.
