Kuwait Real Estate Company, in partnership with its subsidiary IFA Hotels and Resorts, has awarded a construction contract valued at Dh198 million to Darwish Engineering for infrastructure development at the Al Tay Hills residential project in Sharjah.

The contract, executed through Qaryat Al Nakheel Real Estate, a subsidiary of Kuwait Real Estate, encompasses the design and implementation of core infrastructure components. These include sewage networks, a wastewater treatment facility, two water pumping stations, and networks for roads, stormwater drainage, electricity, telecommunications, and water supply.

Al Tay Hills is a residential development spanning over 6 million square feet, comprising 1,100 units, including villas and townhouses. Strategically located along Emirates Road near the Sharjah Grand Mosque, the project features a 2.5-kilometre green river, extensive green spaces, and a network of walking and cycling paths. The development is planned in three phases, with the first phase scheduled for delivery in the first quarter of 2028.

In February 2025, IFA Hotels and Resorts reported securing real estate deals worth Dh2.1 billion for Al Tay Hills within a single week, indicating strong investor interest in the project.

Darwish Engineering is tasked with completing the infrastructure works within the approved timeline and adhering to established engineering standards.
