Menzies Aviation, a subsidiary of Agility Global, has agreed to acquire US-based airport services company G2 for $305 million, according to a company statement. The deal is expected to close in June 2025, subject to regulatory approvals.
The acquisition will give Menzies full ownership of G2, which operates in more than 85 airports across the United States and provides services including passenger assistance, cabin cleaning, ground handling, and air cargo support. G2 employs 12,000 staff and serves nearly all major US airlines and several international carriers.
Following the transaction, Menzies will expand its operations to over 340 airports in 65 countries, supported by a workforce of 65,000. The company projects a 20% increase in annual group revenue to over $3.1 billion.
John Redmond, Executive Vice President Americas at Menzies, said the acquisition aligns with the company’s long-term strategy to increase its market share in North America and expand its global reach.
The deal comes amid ongoing consolidation in the aviation services sector as companies look to scale operations and secure long-term contracts with airlines facing rising operational and logistics demands. Agility acquired Menzies in 2022 as part of its strategy to invest in global infrastructure and logistics assets.
