Metal Park, in collaboration with Khalifa Economic Zones Abu Dhabi (KEZAD) Group, has launched the first phase of its Dh110 million Storage Hub within the KEZAD Free Zone. This facility offers specialised storage solutions and support services tailored to the metal industry.
Spanning approximately 93,000 square meters, the initial phase features 26 overhead cranes with capacities of up to 40 metric tonnes and 55 loading bays designed for trucks and automated guided vehicles. The hub is equipped to handle the loading and unloading of up to 48,000 metric tonnes daily. Additional features include vertical storage capabilities, a cantilever system for truck loading, and three weighbridges with capacities of 150 metric tonnes each. The facility operates as a gated community, ensuring continuous surveillance and security.
Strategically positioned within the KEZAD Free Zone, the Storage Hub offers direct access to Khalifa Port via a modular road, proximity to the Etihad Rail network, and connectivity to highways linking Abu Dhabi to the Northern Emirates and the broader GCC region.
The Storage Hub’s launch is part of Metal Park’s broader strategy to develop a comprehensive metal industry ecosystem within KEZAD, aiming to support businesses adapting to market demands without infrastructure constraints.
