Saudi Arabia, India strengthen industrial collaboration

The ministers discussed ways to enhance industrial cooperation and attract investments in strategic sectors.

Saudi Arabia’s Minister of Industry and Mineral Resources, Bandar Alkhorayef, met with India’s Minister of Commerce and Industry, Piyush Goyal, in New Delhi to discuss enhancing industrial cooperation and attracting investments in strategic sectors.

Alkhorayef also held separate meetings with India’s Minister of Chemicals and Fertilizers, Jagat Prakash Nadda, and Union Minister of Heavy Industries, HD Kumaraswamy. Discussions focused on cooperation in petrochemicals, fertilisers, pharmaceuticals, medical devices, heavy machinery, automobiles and spare parts.

In a social media post, Goyal stated, “Held a productive meeting with HE Bandar bin Ibrahim Alkhorayef, Minister of Industry and Mineral Resources, Saudi Arabia. Discussed strengthening trade & investment ties between our nations and deepening our economic partnership and collaborations across sectors for mutual growth and prosperity.”
