The General Organization for Social Insurance (GOSI) has reminded business owners to take advantage of its fine exemption initiative, which offers a 100% waiver on late payment fines and violations. The initiative applies to establishments with recorded debts before March 3, 2024, and requires outstanding contributions to be paid through the Taminaty business platform.
Initially launched in March 2024, the initiative was extended for an additional six months in August 2024, with the current deadline approaching. GOSI has conducted over 25 workshops to inform business owners about the initiative and the application process. As of August 2024, nearly 142,000 establishments have applied for the exemption.
GOSI encourages all eligible establishments to apply for the exemption before the deadline to mitigate financial impacts and ensure compliance with social insurance regulations.
