In November 2024, Saudi Arabia’s non-oil commodity exports to Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC) countries reached SAR 9.46 billion, a 43% increase from SAR 6.62 billion in November 2023. Imports from GCC nations totalled approximately SAR 5.66 billion during the same period.
The resulting trade surplus with GCC countries was SAR 3.71 billion in November 2024, a significant rise from the SAR 86.9 million surplus recorded in November 2023.
The UAE was the leading destination for Saudi non-oil exports within the GCC, accounting for SAR 7.17 billion, or 75.8% of the total. Bahrain followed with SAR 929.7 million (9.8%), Kuwait with SAR 610.4 million (6.4%), Qatar with SAR 395.8 million (4.2%), and Oman with SAR 356.4 million (3.8%).
