The Saudi Authority for Industrial Cities and Technology Zones (MODON) has announced ten new development projects in six industrial cities valued at SR538 million. In collaboration with national companies, these projects aim to support value chain initiatives and boost local content.

Among the agreements, MODON has signed a contract to establish 80 factories, ready-made products in Al-Ahsa and Taif’s industrial cities, and the MODON Oasis in Al-Ahsa. These spaces, spanning 350 and 450 square meters, aim to facilitate business operations for entrepreneurs and SME owners, contributing to Saudi Vision 2030 objectives.

Additionally, MODON has finalised three contracts to construct advanced infrastructure covering over 5.7 million square meters in the eastern expansion of the Hail Industrial City and Al-Madina Al-Munawwara Industrial City. These efforts aim to maintain production processes and meet industry standards within these hubs.

Improving essential services in these industrial cities has been a focus for MODON. Contracts for implementing medium and low voltage networks in Taif Industrial City and establishing a conversion plant in Tabuk Industrial City aim to enhance operational efficiency and production capacity.

Furthermore, MODON has committed to enhancing connectivity by signing a road contract linking the Dammam Third Industrial City and the King Salman Energy Park (SPARK). They’ve also inked a contract for a civil defence station to bolster security in industrial cities and surrounding areas.
