UAE’s Sheikh Tahnoon and President Trump discuss deepening economic and technological partnerships

HH Sheikh Tahnoon bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Deputy Ruler of Abu Dhabi and National Security Adviser, met with US President Donald Trump at the White House to discuss strengthening the strategic partnership between the UAE and the United States.

The discussions focused on expanding cooperation in sectors such as artificial intelligence, technology, infrastructure, and healthcare. Sheikh Tahnoon emphasised the UAE’s commitment to enhancing economic ties and accelerating investments in these key areas.

During his visit, Sheikh Tahnoon also met with US Treasury Secretary Scott Bessent to explore avenues for economic and financial collaboration, particularly in digital transformation and AI investments.

In a separate meeting with US National Security Adviser Michael Waltz, discussions included regional and global security issues, with a focus on cybersecurity and energy security.
