Shamal Holding has partnered with LVMH’s Cheval Blanc to open the brand’s first property in Dubai, scheduled to launch in 2029 on a private island off the city’s coast.

The resort will include 30 suites, 40 private pool villas, and a limited number of branded beachfront residences. The development is part of Cheval Blanc’s international expansion strategy and marks its entry into the UAE market.

The project will feature architecture and interiors aligned with Cheval Blanc’s design approach and hospitality offering. Services will include wellness programmes, dining options, and access to the brand’s curated lifestyle amenities.

Cheval Blanc currently operates properties in destinations including Paris, Courchevel, St. Tropez, the Maldives, and the Caribbean. Its entry into Dubai adds to LVMH’s presence in the region, following the opening of luxury retail and hospitality ventures across the GCC.

Shamal Holding, which is backed by Dubai’s sovereign wealth ecosystem, has invested in several high-profile developments across the city, including Dubai Harbour and The Lana, operated by Dorchester Collection.
