The Zakat, Tax and Customs Authority (ZATCA) has directed businesses subject to value-added tax (VAT) with annual revenues exceeding SAR 40 million to submit their VAT returns for January 2025 by February 28, 2025.

Establishments must file their tax statements through the ZATCA website or mobile application to avoid penalties ranging from 5% to 25% of the outstanding tax amount.

VAT applies to most goods and services traded by businesses, with specific exemptions outlined under Saudi tax regulations.
