DAMAC Digital unveiled plans to establish a substantial IT capacity landbank of 6,000 megawatts (MW) across more than 13 countries, positioning itself as a leading digital infrastructure platform for hyper-scale cloud and artificial intelligence demands.
The development comes as the firm taps high-growth markets in North America, Europe, Asia and the Middle East.
The expansion aligns with DAMAC Digital’s integration of land acquisition, power access, and rapid construction capabilities, critical for AI infrastructure development.
The firm secured partnerships with five global hyper-scalers, with expectations for eight sites to become operational by the end of FY26.
By Q1 of FY27, the firm aims to develop over 700 MW of operational capacity across 14 sites, scaling up to 2 gigawatts (GW) by the end of Q1 2028.
DAMAC Digital initiated construction on ten new sites, demonstrating its accelerated development model in the past year. This model allows the company to transition from land acquisition to operational status in as little as 12 months in Asia, meeting business demand with limited time lags.
DAMAC Digital is combining its core vertical, real estate, with the demands of AI demand and the challenges of data sovereignty beyond the GCC.
